Bella Ramsey Departs Twitter After the End of Legacy Verification, Thanks 'My Gay Army'

Bella Ramsey is saying farewell to Twitter.

The 19-year-old The Last of Us star hopped on the social media platform on Friday (April 21) to reveal that she would no longer be engaging with her account.

Her decision comes after Twitter owner Elon Musk formally did away with verification for legacy accounts in favor of forcing people to pay for the traditional blue checkmark on their account.

Bella marked the decision with a sweet message.

“Twitter it’s been fun,” Bella wrote in her final tweet. “My account will still be active for now but I will not be on here! Thank you my gay army and all the rest. Love you.”

The news comes after we learned some exciting casting news for the star. She’s headed to a new drama series set in a British prison!
