The new Netflix shows were just announced as nominees for Outstanding Children’s Program at the 2018 Emmy Awards.
The two Netflix shows were nominated along with Fuller House, Star Wars Rebels and The Magical Wand Chase: A Sesame Street Special.
Alexa & Katie, starring Paris Berelc and Isabel May, are wrapping up their second season this week; and A Series of Unfortunate Events will return for its’ third and final season next year on Netflix.
The 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards will air live coast-to-coast on NBC on Monday, September 17th.
The two stars of the Netflix show, based on Lemony Snicket‘s novel series, wrapped up filming this week with Neil Patrick Harris saying goodbye earlier in the week to his own character, Count Olaf.
“That’s a wrap on ASOUE. I cannot thank the cast and crew enough for all of the incredible work they have put in to the show I have grown up on,” Louis wrote on his Instagram.
He adds, “I will miss all of you! It was so surreal to say goodbye and I still can’t quite believe it’s all over! What an amazing way to spend the last three years of my life. So much love for all of you.”
