Rip Hunter is back — and he has absolutely no clue who the Legends of Tomorrow are!
Arthur Darvill will make his return later this month on the show as the captain, returning from filming another show in the UK.
“They were very kind on Legends - Broadchurch is something that’s been going on for a while, so they had to work around that,” Arthur revealed in a recent interview of his absence from the CW show. “I was so pleased to finish off that journey on Broadchurch.”
But what about his return as Rip? “Yeah, I do come back, in some way, to Legends of Tomorrow… but I can’t talk about that! I always work on shows that you’re not allowed to bloody talk about…”
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will make it’s winter premiere on January 24th @ 9PM ET/PT on the CW.

Katie Cassidy is coming back to Arrow — but not as the character you think she is.
In the first visual sneak peek at the mid-season premiere, fake Laurel is welcomed back by the group including Oliver and Felicity — but they quickly find out that she’s not Laurel at all.
“Finally, it’s been about time that someone figured it out,” fake Laurel says in the new video, teasing what’s coming in the episode.
The episode is titled “Who Are You?” and that’s exactly what we want to know — who is this fake Laurel?
Katie Cassidy arrives back at Vancouver International Airport on Thursday (October 6) in Canada.
The 29-year-old actress is set to start filming on the new season of Arrow, where she will possibly appear alive, as this is Earth-2.
Executive producer Wendy Mericle dished to TVGuide about Katie‘s role in the series, after fans saw Laurel die in the previous season.
“I can tell you that we’re really excited about having her back. You will see in the episodes where she appears � Episode 510 definitely, our midseason premiere,” she dished.
Wendy added, “We’re so excited about getting to work with her again and her willingness to come back. It’s one of the fun parts of the show. People can leave and get killed and you can still find new and crazy ways for them to come back. I can definitely tell you that there’s a way we’re going to bring her back and she’s going to be alive and well. And Flashpoint might have a little bit to do with that.”
