You may have seem some sketchy Instagram posts from Cierra Ramirez and Maia Mitchell and wondering what’s going on…
While filming was thought to be wrapped on The Fosters, and the spinoff was green-lit with the two girls, their trip to Turks & Caicos wasn’t much of a surprise, until more cast mates posted photos – and now we have the scoop!
According to EW, the cast all took a trip to the tropical paradise for Mike and Anna’s wedding.
“Life has taken the Fosters all sorts of places, and we’ve done plenty of ceremonies in the backyard of the house, but we thought a celebration this size called for a trip to Beaches Resort in Turks & Caicos,” EP Peter Paigesaid.

Mariana gets a little in over her head about her college options on tonight’s all-new The Fosters.
In the episode, “Giving Up The Ghost”, Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) has picked out her top 10 schools she wants to go out for, only to find out that she’d be just another fish in a very large pond if she applied there.
Elsewhere, Stef confronts her demons and finally comes clean to Lena about what’s been troubling her; and Callie (Maia Mitchell) heads to dinner at Donald’s with Jude (Hayden Byerly).
And, Mariana and Emma (Amanda Leighton) find themselves going head to head, putting Poppy and Jesus in an awkward position.
During their appearance, they reveal who stole what from the set after the last day of filming. Sherri said there may or may not be a pan from the kitchen missing.
Callie and Jude will be remembering their biological mother on tonight’s all-new The Fosters.
If you remember, Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Jude’s (Hayden Byerly) mom Colleen was killed in a drunk driving accident, which we all learned in a season one flashback.
Elsewhere in the episode, Stef’s (Teri Polo) mom comes to visit and helps her cope with a tough time and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) invites Logan to the family’s Mother’s Day brunch.
The Fosters will air TONIGHT @ 8PM ET/PT on Freeform.
The actress took to Instagram on Friday (February 9) to share her bittersweet emotions with fans.
“This lot and stage 22 has been my first home for the past five years,” Maia captioned the slideshow below. “Saying goodbye is rough, but so beyond grateful for all the love and memories. Here’s some from the past few days. Just so emotional you guyssssss.”
The 24-year-old actor, who plays Brandon on the series, took to his social media account to say a little goodbye to the show that he’s been on for the past five years.
“Been seeing this for the past few years at WB,” David writes, showing off his personalized parking space. “It never stopped being surreal. It never will stop.”
He continues, “Today is the final shoot day for @thefosterstv at WB. And the amount of memories that come rushing back to me are almost too much to bear. I will always cherish this lot. It’ll always hold a special place in my head and my heart. And I’m eternally grateful for being able to say I worked here. I could go on and say more but what’s the point.”
“I’ll leave it at…I’ll miss this place very much.”
