Emma Stone and her longtime boyfriend Andrew Garfield have called it quits again and the split is said to be “for good” this time.
The 26-year-old actress and the 32-year-old actor went on a break from their relationship in April and then they got back together soon after. Now sources tell Us Weekly that they split “a couple months ago.”
“They still have a lot of love for one another and they are on good terms with each another and remain close,” an insider said. “It just wasn’t working.”
Emma and Andrew met on the set of their movie The Amazing Spider-Man back in 2011 and kept their relationship private over the years.
ARE YOU SAD that Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have split?
Andrew Garfield pulls his hair back into a ponytail and shows off his mustache while appearing on Good Morning America in New York City on Monday (September 7).
The 32-year-old actor plays a dad in his new movie 99 Homes and he just opened up about it in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“I’ve always had them somewhere,” Andrew said. “I think all men do and all women have that motherly instinct, and it was exciting to explore that and daunting and scary. I kind of thought, ‘Well, how do I do that? If I haven’t experienced it, can I do it?’ but then I realized that’s the situation of every single father in the history of time. Everybody who becomes a father has never been a father before, so we’re all going into this initiation totally blind and groping in the dark so I kind of went with that feeling of not knowing what the hell I was doing and it kind of helped.”

If you don’t remember, there were reports earlier this year that the couple went on a break, but they have since been spotted together looking totally happy!
“See, I never talk about this stuff for this exact reason—because it’s all so speculative and baseless,” the 26-year-old Aloha actress says in the new issue of the Wall Street Journal magazine.
“Once you start responding—once you’re like, ‘No, that’s not true’—then they’re like, ‘Well, if we push enough, we’ll get a comment, so let’s see what else we can make up.’ I understand the interest in it completely, because I’ve had it, too,” Emma added. “But it’s so special to me that it never feels good to talk about, so I just continually don’t talk about it.”

“I don’t feel any different from anyone. I am such a diehard fan — as you of all people should know. [laughs] I know what it is to be a fan. But I don’t think I’ve ever really considered the idea of having fans,” Emma recently dished in her Interview cover story.
She added, “I think I’m always sort of ducking that, thinking it’s more about the work, the project itself, than me, in particular, that’s speaking to people. So I’ve never really taken it all that personally, as if it has something to do with me. Maybe that’s unwise. But when someone comes up to you and says something truly heartfelt about work you’ve done, that means a lot.”
