Sofia Carson Wants to Go Back to College & Finish Her Degree

Sofia Carson is expressing interest in furthering her education!

If you didn’t know, the 29-year-old actress and singer was taking classes at UCLA when she booked the role of Evie in Disney Channel’s Descendants movie.

Now, she’s revealing that she actually doesn’t have that much schooling left and she hopes to finish up.

Here’s what she said…

While on Live with Kelly and Ryan to promote her upcoming Netflix film Purple Hearts, Sofia shared she’s only got one full year of classes left.

“I guess I’m still technically enrolled [at UCLA], I have nine classes left to graduate, which is one full year,” Sofia shared.

“I took time off, you know, my career luckily, you know things started going really well with Descendants, and now here we are with Purple Hearts,” she continued. “But the plan is, I really do want to eventually take a year off and finish.”

Sofia then added that she was studying “communications and international relations.”

“You know, my grandma [says], ‘Can’t you just call the dean and get credits with everything that you’re doing?’ and I’m like, I don’t think it works that way.”

If you don’t know, Sofia‘s international relations studies have surely come into use as she is a UNICEF Ambassador.
