'Percy Jackson & The Olympians' TV Series Gets New Teaser Trailer, Stills & Poster!

The new teaser trailer for the upcoming Percy Jackson and the Olympians television adaptation just arrived!

Based on the fan-favorite, hit book series by Rick Riordan, the new series features an all new, all-star cast and is a more faithful adaptation than the previously released movies. This is due to author Rick Riordan being directly involved in every aspect.

The upcoming series tells the fantastical story of a 12-year-old modern demigod, Percy Jackson, who’s just coming to terms with his newfound supernatural powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. Now Percy must trek across America to find it and restore order to Olympus.

Starring in the new show are Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood and Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, as well as Lin-Manuel Miranda, Megan Mullally, Toby Stephens, Virginia Kull, Jason Mantzoukas, Jay Duplass, Glynn Turman, the late Lance Reddick, Adam Copeland, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Olivea Morton, Suzanne Cryer, Timm Sharp and Timothy Omundson.

The first two episodes of Percy Jackson and the Olympians were written by Rick Riordan and Jon Steinberg, directed by James Bobin, and will premiere on December 20th on Disney+, followed by new episodes weekly!
