Exciting news – Freeform has already picked up grown-ish for a sixth season!

The black-ish spinoff series is set to return on the network for another season, continuing the stories of the Johnson kids and more.

The renewal comes just a week before the season five mid-season return NEXT Wednesday (January 18).

Freeform is sharing a first look at the upcoming new series The Watchful Eye!

The new drama from executive producer Ryan Seacrest is the network’s first new series of the year and it premieres in just a couple of weeks, and is also one of two January premieres.

Freeform is sharing when two of it’s shows are premiering!

The season five return of grown-ish and the premiere of the new thriller The Watchful Eye are both coming at the start of the new year.

grown-ish‘s fifth season will return with it’s second half of the season as Junior (Marcus Scribner) finishes his first year at Cal U.

Halloween is over and Freeform is looking forward to Christmas!

The network just announced it’s upcoming 25 Days of Christmas programming schedule for the 2022 season in December.

Holiday classics like Home Alone, The Santa Clause, Frosty the Snowman and more are all returning.

Other films that will be airing include Toy Story, Daddy’s Home 2 and the network premiere of Frozen II!

The first half of grown-ish‘s fifth season has already come to an end!

The Freeform series concluded the first batch of episodes of it’s latest season on Wednesday night (September 14), which brought together the new stars of the show, and even brought back most of the show’s original stars.

In the episode, “It’s a Vibe,” Junior’s (Marcus Scribner) fate as a Gamma is determined, as is his relationship status with Annika (Justine Skye). Doug (Diggy Simmons) throws another big party, and some old friends drop in to help him celebrate.

At the party, Vivek (Jordan Buhat), Ana (Francia Raisa), Nomi (Emily Arlook) and even Jazz (Chloe Bailey) all came back to the show – and there was even a proposal!

This week’s Good Trouble season four finale was a bit of a doozy!

In the episode, “This Is Not My Beautiful House,” now that Isabella (Priscilla Quintana) wants to put the baby up for adoption, Gael (Tommy Martinez) decides what role he wants to play in his child’s life. Malika (Zuri Adele) is caught between her career and her beliefs. Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) infiltrates Silas’s cult to speak to Jenna (Maiara Walsh) face-to-face.

The episode ended on possibly the biggest cliffhanger of the entirety of both Good Trouble and The Fosters.

The Good Trouble season four finale just aired after quite the season!

The Freeform series will definitely be back for a fifth season, as it was announced a month ago.

At the start of the season, we said goodbye to Callie Adams-Foster, after Maia Mitchell stepped away from the show to go spend time with her family.

She then returned to LA seven months later and reunited with co-star and bestie Cierra Ramirez. Maia was also seen back on set of Good Trouble on their final day of filming season four, leading fans to wonder if she’d be back. But alas, she did not return this season, aside from a brief, virtual appearance in episode six.

Now, executive producer Joanna Johnson is teasing her return in season five!
