DC’s Stargirl is finally having it’s season three premiere in just a few weeks!
Ahead of the new season, The CW just dropped the trailer teasing the upcoming episodes.
DC’s Stargirlcw of course follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past.
The series reimagines DC’s Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America.

We’re finally getting our first look at the upcoming third season of DC’s Stargirl season three!
The cast has been wrapped on the season since March, and the show is not even set to return until this fall.
In the new teaser trailer shared this week, we get a tease about the return of Joel McHale‘s Sylvester Pemberton / Starman, who they “all thought he was dead.”

The 22-year-old actress took to Instagram ahead of the season finale, which airs TONIGHT (November 2).

DC’s Stargirl has found it’s Eclipso and The Shade!
It was just announced that Nick Tarabay (left) has been cast as Eclipso and Jonathan Cake (center) has been cast as The Shade for the upcoming second season, Deadline reveals.
Earlier this month, Stargirl showrunner Geoff Johns opened up about both of the villains at this year’s virtual New York Comic Con. See what he said here!.
Deadline also reports that Project Mc² actress Ysa Penarejo has also joined the cast as a recurring character. No word yet on who she will play.
In case you missed it, Geoff also recently shared that fans will get to see more of this character in season two!
“We do have so many other things to explore with these characters, and other avenues and other characters to meet and introduce, we’ll do it the best we can and we’ll do it at our own pace,” Geoff said. “But we’ll definitely be playing with things like the pink pen in season two.”

Meanwhile, the show just recruited two new guest stars! According to Variety, Amanda Pays has been cast as Dr. Tina McGee, which is the same role she played in the original live-action version of the show.
Meanwhile, EW reports that Nick Tarabay is set to appear in several episodes of Arrow as Digger Harkness (AKA Captain Boomerang), and will appear in The Flash crossover episode too.
