Joshua Bassett came out to support co-star Julia Lester for the opening night musical performance of her show The Secret Garden at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre on Sunday (February 26) in Los Angeles.
The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series actors were joined by co-stars Saylor Bell, Larry Saperstein, Matt Cornett, Adrian Lyles, Joe Serafini, Jason Earles and HSMTMTS creator and showrunner Tim Federle.
Also stepping out for the show were Sophia Hammons, Audrey Grace Marshall, Wednesday‘s Isaac Ordonez and Cheyenne Jackson, who briefly appeared in Into the Woods on Broadway with Julia.

Spencer Boldman is back to having shorter hair as he hits the carpet at the premiere of Welcome to Chippendales on Tuesday (November 15) in Los Angeles.
The former Lab Rats star returns to television in the upcoming true-crime Hulu series, where he plays one of the Chippendales dancers, Lance McCrae.
Also in attendance at the premiere were his co-stars Nicola Peltz Beckham with hubby Brooklyn, her brother Will Peltz, who’s also in the show, Kumail Nanjiani with wife Emily V Gordon, Murray Bartlett, Juliette Lewis and Robin De Jesus.

There are no plans for a second season of Julie and the Phantoms, despite fans push for it to be resurrected.
The Netflix series ran for one season, released in September 2020, before being canceled over a year later.
Since, fans have been petitioning for the streamer to reconsider, or for another platform to pick it up.
They even bought marquee billboards across the world, garnering the attention of executive producer, choreographer and director Kenny Ortega, who thanked the fans last week.
Now, in a new interview, Kenny is addressing the current plans of the show.

Daniel Ranieri matches with J.R. Moehringer at the premiere of his new movie The Tender Bar held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Sunday evening (December 12) in Hollywood.
The 10-year-old actor actually portrays the younger version of J.R. in the upcoming Prime Video film.
His co-stars Ben Affleck, with Jennifer Lopez, Christopher Lloyd, Rhenzy Feliz, Lily Rabe, Tye Sheridan, Briana Middleton and Matthew Delamater were in attendance as well.
Also stepping out for the premiere were Rhenzy‘s Marvel’s Runaways co-star Gregg Sulkin, Ava Michelle, Garrett Clayton, Alexis Ren, Holland Roden, Ryan McCartan and Cheyenne Jackson.
The Tender Bar is based off of the best-selling memoir of the same name by J.R., which is about his life growing up.

Olivia Rodrigo dons quite the dress while attending The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Opening Gala held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Saturday evening (September 25) in Los Angeles.
The 18-year-old entertainer wore a daring black gown to the event, which was attended by a lot of celebs over the weekend.
Also in attendance were Ariana DeBose, Anna Kendrick, Darren Criss, Billie Lourd and fiancé Austen Rydell, Haunted Mansion‘s Tiffany Haddish, Diego Boneta, Batgirl‘s Leslie Grace, Abigail Breslin and Descendants‘ Cheyenne Jackson with husband Jason Landau.
The event – which was co-chaired by Ava DuVernay, Ryan Murphy, and Jason Blum – honored Sophia Loren and filmmaker Haile Gerima. Tom Hanks, Annette Bening, and Bob Iger were also recognized for their fundraising efforts for the museum.
The new Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, which is located on the LACMA campus, will officially be open to the public starting on September 30th.
